McCray’s returns to the Super Bowl
The world famous ribs from McCray’s Backyard Bar-B-Q and Seafood are taking a road trip.
McCray’s will be featured once again at the Player Networking Event in Los Angeles.
Derrick McCray, senior owner and CEO of McCray’s Backyard Bar-B-Q & Seafood in West Palm Beach, will kick off National Sports and Entertainment Program, at the PNE on February 11.
McCray spoke to WPTV Channel 5 shortly before leaving town. The game will be on NBC on Super Bowl Sunday.
McCray’s is back at the Super Bowl for the 16th year in a row.
“It must be our 87-year-old secret “sweet mustard” sauce,” says Derrick McCray, owner of McCray’s Backyard BBQ & Seafood. “It feels like a miracle each year we get the call to return and cook for the Super Bowl.”
The PNE’s mission is to promote player-centric career and business initiatives.
“A very long time ago, I was a football player, too,” McCray says, referring to his career with the short-lived United States Football League. “I have a certain fondness for the PNE’s mission, helping NFL’s greats make their graceful transition out of professional football and into other ventures. After all, there’s life after football. The PNE gives players opportunities and tools to help them make the transition into that new life. I’m honored to play a small role in that process.”
